LaLa Vazques and Carmelo Anthony, Now Proud Parents!Denver Nuggets all-star Carmelo Anthony and his fiancee, MTV VJ La La Vazquez, are proud parents of a baby son, Kiyan Anthony. Vazquez gave birth to the little boy at 1:35 pm Wednesday. He weighs a healthy five pounds, 9 1/2 ounces and he’s 18 1/2 inches long.

Anthony’s agent, Calvin Andrews, told the Denver Post that he thought fatherhood would “help him mature more, see the world differently. It’s been overwhelming, but he’ll be fine.”

No word on how much time Vazquez will take off from her job at MTV, but it’s been reported that Anthony will return to work on Friday, when the Nuggets go head-to-head with the Pistons. Congratulations guys, and I wish you the best of luck with your new jobs as mother and father!
