Rosie O’Donnell thinks Kelly Rippa is a homophobe for telling Clay Aiken that it’s a “no no” to put his hands in her face. It all went down on “Live with Regis & Kelly.” Clay was filling in for Regis, and he and Kelly were interviewing Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke (winners of the latest Dancing with the Stars). Kelly seemed like she was “taking over” the interview (uhm, duh .. isn’t it HER show??) so Clay covered her mouth with his hands to shut her up. And she told him, “I don’t know where that hand’s been, honey!” in a joking manner. And that was that. Now, on The View, they were talking about the situation and Rosie O’Donnell said that she felt that what Kelly said was “homophobic” and “if it were Mario Lopez or any person that she didn’t question their sexuality, she wouldn’t have said that.” Oh, what-the-fuck-ever! I don’t care who you are … that’s NASTY puttin your hands on somebody’s mouth, and Rosie knows that. And if she doesn’t care about someone puttin their hands in her face, that’s her … to each his/her own. Clay Aiken didn’t take what Kelly said so seriously, and Rosie shouldn’t have either. Okay, you know those “gyroscope” things … those series of cirlces that rotate around each other, and the center spins around, and around, and around, and around, and around? David Blaine – a professional magician and stuntman, has been doing crazy things since 1999, like, burying himself alive, being frozen, and drowning himself alive! This latest stunt involves the gyroscope mechanism mentioned above. Yesterday, Mr. Blaine strapped himself inside of this thing, and he has 2 days to free himself … while it spins the ENTIRE TIME at about 8 revolutions per minute! If he’s successful, he will lead 500 children from the Salvation Army on a $500 shopping spree sponsored by Target. Blaine said the stunt was particularly important since The Salvation Army had provided him with clothing while he was growing up. “This challenge is close to my heart,” Blaine said. For more information on this challenge, and all of his past challenges, check out his Wikipedia entry Here.

Will Smith, along with his wife, Jada Pinket Smith, refuses to send his two children to school to get a public education, claiming the system limits their education. Smith insists he didn’t learn his most valuable lessons in school and claims there are no limits to what he can teach Jaden, eight; Willo, six; and his 14-year-old son Trey, from his marriage to Sheree Smith.

He says, “The date of the Boston Tea Party does not matter. I know how to learn anything I want to learn. I absolutely know that I could learn how to fly the space shuttle because someone else knows how to fly it, and they put it in a book. Give me the book, and I do not need somebody to stand up in front of the class.”

In my opinion, public schooling is the best education out there. You’re put around people of all different races, religions, opinions, etc., and it prepares you for the real world. When you’re home-schooled, you only see what happens in your own home, and when you’re thrust into the real world when you come of age, you’re completely lost. You should think 2wice about only home-schooling your kids, Will.

I’m not buying this apology at all. What he said made him look like an idiot, and in my opinion, he’s only apologizing for ruining his own image, because if what happened hadn’t been recorded … he probably wouldn’t have even given a shit! He’s not apologizing for what he said. You can’t apologize for something like that. What he said has been in his mind for a long time … it just came out full fledge that night. It’s like a person who gets drunk and tells people how the REALLY feel about them. There WAS a video on youtube, but it was removed because it violated CBS’ copyright. If I find another one, I’ll post it so you guys can see. But I STILL think he needs his racist ass kicked. Any volunteers???

Edit: Most of the internet video streaming sites aren’t allowed to have the interview online, but CBS has an excerpt of the video in text, and in Windows Media. Click Here to check it out.

This is a little bit of what was said in the interview:

Letterman: “Why don’t you explain exactly what happened for the folks who may not know.”

Richards: “I lost my temper on stage. I was at a comedy club trying to do my act and I got heckled and I took it badly and went into a rage and said some pretty nasty things to some Afro-Americans, a lot of trash talk…”

Letterman: “And you were actually being heckled or were they just talking and disturbing the act?”

Richards: “That was going on too.”

….

Later in the interview, Letterman asked Richards if he would have responded to the heckler in a similar vein if he had been of a different race.

“It may have happened,” said Richards. “I’m a performer. I push the envelope. I work in a very uncontrolled manner on stage. I do a lot of free association — it’s spontaneous, I go into character. I don’t know. In view of the situation and the act going the way it was going, I don’t know. The rage did go all over the place – it went to everybody in the room.”

Richards seemed baffled by his own reaction on stage.

“I’m not a racist, that’s what’s so insane about this,” he said.

What the hell is an “Afro-American” … and why does that audience think this is so funny?

Okay, nothing’s worse than dumping Kevin Federline and making a new friendship with Paris Hilton. Okay, there are far worse things that could happen to an individual, but in this case … things like this just make you want to shake your head and wonder “what the hell is going on?” Above are a few candid photographs of Britney Spears hanging out with … “her.” See for yourselves…

Stevie Wonder, Usher, Jermaine Dupri and Angela Winbush were among the thousands of celebrities, fans and family members at Cleveland’s Public Hall facility Friday to attend a musical tribute to R&B singer Gerald Levert, who died Nov. 10. Standing in front of a huge framed picture of the late artist, Wonder joined Levert’s father, Eddie Levert of the O’Jays, and Levert’s brother, Sean, to lead the audience in a spirited, energy-filled mixture of memories, music and good ol’ fashioned church fervor.

“You all really don’t know how big his heart was,” said Eddie Levert, who joined Sean to sing a touching rendition of Luther Vandross’ “Dance With My Father.” Both father and brother personalized the words for Gerald. Sean joined Keith Sweat and Johnny Gill, his brother Gerald’s partners in the group LSG, to perform Levert’s biggest hit “Casanova.” Eddie Levert kissed his son’s framed picture at the end of the performance. Elder Levert said performing was Gerald’s great love. “That came from his heart, his soul, his whole body,” the father said. Wonder, who clasped Eddie Levert’s hand, said he was thankful for Gerald’s gifts. “I’m here for you, Gerald, because I love you,” said Wonder. “I’m here to celebrate my love.”

Usher told the audience: “When I came here, I expected to mourn.? Instead, he said: “I actually cried tears of joy.” Speaking with reporters before the service, Usher said Levert was always willing to encourage up-and-coming talent. “He was like an uncle or a brother.” (See video footage of Usher’s interview below the break.)

Journalist Ed Gordon also attended the service, which lasted about three hours and featured Judge Greg Mathis as the main eulogis. Looks like Paris Hilton feels the same way we do about her music. Pop culture’s favorite target, Paris Hilton, was so drunk at a concert .. that when she took the stage to lipsynch a couple of her songs, she puked .. right on the stage!

Paris Hilton vomited onstage during a performance in Las Vegas. The hotel heiress was extremely drunk as she took to the stage to “lip sync” two songs, according to Joshua Radin. Radin, who was in Vegas to see rapper Jay-Z perform, wrote on his MySpace webpage: “Paris, who had been swilling straight vodka from a Grey Goose bottle for hours, gets up on stage after Jay Z has finished, has the people in charge throw her ‘record’ on the house stereo for her to lip sync two of her songs.

“She gets up on the stage, pukes and leaves. I find the music business charming.” Radin also says Paris snubbed him even though they were sitting next to each other and kept staring at her reflection in a compact mirror all night. He added: “Paris was sitting next to me the whole night. Seriously, next to me, like our legs were touching for a good 5 hours.

“Now don’t get the wrong idea. But she never once said hello, nor even looked in my direction. Five hours. And it was unreal to watch. She must have pulled a compact out of her bag every 6 minutes to stare at herself and pose while Jay-Z was performing 18 inches from us.”

Jay-Z is the man! LOL Who else can do an seven-city tour in one day? I sure as hell can’t think of anyone. On November 18, 2006, Jay-Z performed seven 30-minute concerts in seven different cities as a part of his “Hangar Tour” over a time-span of only 24 hours! Check out a few pics of his show in New York above. And follow the break to check out a timeline of that day!
