Britney Didn’t Approve of K-Fed Skit at the AMAs
Aww, Brit, what’s wrong? Can’t take a joke??? Britney Spears was apparantly upset by a skit that was directed towards her soon-to-be ex-husband Kevin Federline last night at the 2006 American Music Awards. Ironically, right after the little skit, she was slated to present the award for Favorite Soul/R&B Female Artist (won by Mary J Blige) and kept her composure (even though she was pretty hot at the situation). In the skit, AMA host Jimmy Kimmel packed a fake K-Fed into a box and threw him into the ocean, calling the wannabe hip-hop artist “the world’s first ever no-hit wonder.” I thought it was pretty funny, LOL. “Britney was blindsided and upset,” says a source familiar with the situation. “Some (of Spears’s associates) were with her, and they were pissed. They asked that it not be shown on the (West Coast) feed.” But, the skit was indeed broadcast on the West Coast. A rep at Jive Records did not return calls. Federline’s rep declined to comment. Jimmy Kimmel said in a statement released Wednesday: “I knew they wouldn’t mind because I know they both have great senses of humor.” Spears filed for divorce from Federline earlier this month after two years of marriage. Both Spears and Federline have asked for sole custody of their two sons, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James.

Rosie O’Donnell thinks Kelly Rippa is a homophobe for telling Clay Aiken that it’s a “no no” to put his hands in her face. It all went down on “Live with Regis & Kelly.” Clay was filling in for Regis, and he and Kelly were interviewing Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke (winners of the latest Dancing with the Stars). Kelly seemed like she was “taking over” the interview (uhm, duh .. isn’t it HER show??) so Clay covered her mouth with his hands to shut her up. And she told him, “I don’t know where that hand’s been, honey!” in a joking manner. And that was that. Now, on The View, they were talking about the situation and Rosie O’Donnell said that she felt that what Kelly said was “homophobic” and “if it were Mario Lopez or any person that she didn’t question their sexuality, she wouldn’t have said that.” Oh, what-the-fuck-ever! I don’t care who you are … that’s NASTY puttin your hands on somebody’s mouth, and Rosie knows that. And if she doesn’t care about someone puttin their hands in her face, that’s her … to each his/her own. Clay Aiken didn’t take what Kelly said so seriously, and Rosie shouldn’t have either. Will Smith, along with his wife, Jada Pinket Smith, refuses to send his two children to school to get a public education, claiming the system limits their education. Smith insists he didn’t learn his most valuable lessons in school and claims there are no limits to what he can teach Jaden, eight; Willo, six; and his 14-year-old son Trey, from his marriage to Sheree Smith.
I’m not buying this apology at all. What he said made him look like an idiot, and in my opinion, he’s only apologizing for ruining his own image, because if what happened hadn’t been recorded … he probably wouldn’t have even given a shit! He’s not apologizing for what he said. You can’t apologize for something like that. What he said has been in his mind for a long time … it just came out full fledge that night. It’s like a person who gets drunk and tells people how the REALLY feel about them. There WAS a video on youtube, but it was removed because it violated CBS’ copyright. If I find another one, I’ll post it so you guys can see. But I STILL think he needs his racist ass kicked. Any volunteers???
