Looks like Paris Hilton feels the same way we do about her music. Pop culture’s favorite target, Paris Hilton, was so drunk at a concert .. that when she took the stage to lipsynch a couple of her songs, she puked .. right on the stage!
Paris Hilton vomited onstage during a performance in Las Vegas. The hotel heiress was extremely drunk as she took to the stage to “lip sync” two songs, according to Joshua Radin. Radin, who was in Vegas to see rapper Jay-Z perform, wrote on his MySpace webpage: “Paris, who had been swilling straight vodka from a Grey Goose bottle for hours, gets up on stage after Jay Z has finished, has the people in charge throw her ‘record’ on the house stereo for her to lip sync two of her songs.
“She gets up on the stage, pukes and leaves. I find the music business charming.” Radin also says Paris snubbed him even though they were sitting next to each other and kept staring at her reflection in a compact mirror all night. He added: “Paris was sitting next to me the whole night. Seriously, next to me, like our legs were touching for a good 5 hours.
“Now don’t get the wrong idea. But she never once said hello, nor even looked in my direction. Five hours. And it was unreal to watch. She must have pulled a compact out of her bag every 6 minutes to stare at herself and pose while Jay-Z was performing 18 inches from us.”
Jay-Z is the man! LOL Who else can do an seven-city tour in one day? I sure as hell can’t think of anyone. On November 18, 2006, Jay-Z performed seven 30-minute concerts in seven different cities as a part of his “Hangar Tour” over a time-span of only 24 hours! Check out a few pics of his show in New York above. And follow the break to check out a timeline of that day!
The cast of Dreamgirls was on Oprah yesterday to promote the movie’s upcoming December 2006 release. At the end of the show, Beyonce performed “Listen” – a bonus track off of B’Day, and a song that will be featured on the movie’s soundtrack, as well as the movie itself! She completely blew me away with this performance. I am a really big Beyonce fan, but I am not, in any way, being biased about this performance. It really was awesome! I love to see her perform songs live, because she always puts something extra behind it (adlibs, vocals, etc.), and this performance was definitely no exception. Check out the video for yourself below, and follow the break to check out videos from the entire show.
Omarion’s new video for his latest single, Icebox, premiered on BET a few days ago. I’m not an Omarion fan, but I must admit … this IS a hot track! And the video is pretty good too. For those that are wondering, yes that is lil Beyonce aka Solange Knowles featured in the video. Check it out below…
I have a pretty good sense of humor, and I understand that funny is funny … and a joke is a joke. But what went down with this Michael “Kramer” Richards situation was NOT funny … at all! If you guys don’t know, Michael Richards is best known as “Kramer” from the series Seinfeld. He was doing some stand-up comedy at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, and went off on a racial tirade yelling “nigger” several times, and it ALL was caught on tape. According to various news sources, this is what happened:
“My understanding is that there was a group of people that were excited Michael Richards had come on stage, and were talking about how great he was as Kramer,” explained Laugh Factory’s Director of Public Relations and Marketing, Jackie Plaza, during an exclusive Vibe.com interview. “Mr. Richards misinterpreted what they said as heckling, and went off on a racial tirade.”
“Fifty years ago we’d have you upside down with a fucking fork up your ass,” Richards yelled as the cameras started rolling. “You can talk, you can talk, you’re brave now motherfucker! Throw his ass out. He’s a nigger! He’s a nigger! He’s a nigger! A nigger, look, there’s a nigger!” One of the men who was the object of Richard’s racial insults was outraged, shouting back “That’s un-fucking called for, ain’t necessary.”
Sounds pretty damn racist to me … you be the judge. There’s a whole lot more that was said, so click below to watch the infamous video. CONTINUE READING
